Sea Change Corporation Announces the Acquisition of iRoam Services Inc.

January 24, 2003 – Concord, Ontario - Sea Change Corporation today announced that it has purchased iRoam Services Inc., the leading Canadian based Internet Global Roaming reseller and integrator, from Qnetix Inc. of Toronto.

iR oam will continue to maintain and improve the high standards of service its customers have grown to expect. “The only immediate change in our service is our address”, says Joe Vida, Account Manager for iRoam, “ We are still providing easy, affordable global Internet connectivity to our travelling clientele as well as 7 x 24 technical support to accommodate the needs of customers in all time zones”.

iR oam's customers connect into the Global Roaming network provided by iPass Inc. of Redwood Shores, California. The service offers seamless wired, wireless or broadband local connectivity to the Internet from over 160 countries and 16,000 access points worldwide. IRoam is a premiere partner in the iPass network and also does security consulting and integration to ensure their customer's information is being securely sent from point to point. This is becoming more and more essential as business travellers are attempting to access their company's internal resources from abroad.
